About 40 percent of infertility problems result solely from a male factor. Many of these factors can be treated or overcome with specialized embryology micromanipulation techniques during an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle.

Our physicians work closely with urologists who specialize in male infertility when further investigation or treatment is required.

Our licensed and CLIA-certified andrology laboratory is staffed by andrologists who are trained and credentialed to assess all parameters of sperm and semen. In addition to providing comprehensive sperm testing, our andrology lab provides the newest methods for analyzing and processing or "washing" sperm for intrauterine inseminations (IUIs). These specialized methods contribute to our high fertility success rates from inseminations.

Services performed by our andrology lab include:

• Semen analyses
• Sperm washes and isolation
• Semen cultures
• Cryopreservation (sperm freezing)

Outside physician referrals are welcome for semen analyses. Our andrology lab is equipped to maintain short-term storage of "donor"semen specimens for donor insemination services. Our semen collection room was specifically designed to offer our male patients privacy, comfort, and convenience for producing semen specimens on-site. Appointments are accepted beginning at 7:00 am to accommodate work schedules.
