At Greenwich Fertility, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our highest priority. As such, we are closely monitoring the constantly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, and are following guidance from the CDC, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and local and national authorities. We expect that over the coming days and weeks, recommendations will be periodically updated as agency and society guidelines change.
Greenwich Fertility is continuously taking steps to improve our infection control measures in all offices and at our embryology lab. As part of these efforts, we are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all clinical spaces, handling clinical matters over the phone when appropriate, and screening patients prior to their visits and adjusting or delaying treatment cycles as necessary. Please consult your physician with any questions regarding the impact of COVID-19 on your care plan.
The best way to prevent infection with COVID-19 or any other respiratory illness is to avoid exposure and to take the following precautions:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick, and consider social distancing during this time of widespread infection>
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, and cover your nose and mouth when sneezing
- Wash your hands frequently, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when a sink is not readily available
- Stay home if you have any fever, chills, or any respiratory symptoms (especially shortness of breath or cough)
